PDS Acquires a 3230 Geoprobe® Rig

Preferred Drilling has acquired a Geoprobe® 3230 rig for our fleet.  This probe is being operated out of our Lakeland branch and services the entire state of Florida.  The 3230 rig has similar capabilities to our 8040 rig.  It has the strength of a conventional drill rig with the versatility of a track mounted probe.  This rig can install wells up to 6 inches in diameter and to depths of up to 75ft pending local lithology.  It is also capable of DPT sampling depths in excess of 150ft.  This addition provides PDS with better availability to conduct deeper scopes of work for clients over a larger geographical area.
